六十年代美国民谣团体 The Brothers Four 最为国人所熟悉的歌应该就是 Try to Remember。这是一首发表于1965年的名副其实的“老”歌。《玻璃之城》里,Try to Remember 一遍一遍的响起,很多人从这里认识了它。而这首歌的特别之处也在于,即使是初听也会有似曾相识的感觉。或许是因为歌唱的就是回忆吧。! F5 O1 U" _! p# x/ n8 z& q

' _- f3 n+ P! x0 j$ HThe Brothers Four(四兄弟演唱组)是美国老牌民谣乐队之一,成立于50年代末,这个乐队由四个华盛顿大学的学生 Bob Flick、John Paine、Mike Kirkand、Dick Foley组成。乐队一组就是四十多年,唱的一直都是传统的通俗民谣,《Green Sleeves》,《Try to remember》那种,平平淡淡,以优美的弦律和琅琅上口的歌词取胜。8 {) V8 |& ?/ G/ f$ x5 t
