' H! p3 U0 u' X# \* _) D1 x2 z& m六十年代美国民谣团体 The Brothers Four 最为国人所熟悉的歌应该就是 Try to Remember。这是一首发表于1965年的名副其实的“老”歌。《玻璃之城》里,Try to Remember 一遍一遍的响起,很多人从这里认识了它。而这首歌的特别之处也在于,即使是初听也会有似曾相识的感觉。或许是因为歌唱的就是回忆吧。

. n! R) T6 N1 B8 F4 B( b: g1 \4 _( g! ^The Brothers Four(四兄弟演唱组)是美国老牌民谣乐队之一,成立于50年代末,这个乐队由四个华盛顿大学的学生 Bob Flick、John Paine、Mike Kirkand、Dick Foley组成。乐队一组就是四十多年,唱的一直都是传统的通俗民谣,《Green Sleeves》,《Try to remember》那种,平平淡淡,以优美的弦律和琅琅上口的歌词取胜。! R1 n3 D8 X+ F1 {, O) [3 U
